sounds like a nice organized idea that i will attempt to keep up with...MUSIC MONDAY! i am a music freak. so i will pick my top 5 songs of the week & post them here for you! :) new, old, whatever! just whatever i have on repeat on my handy dandy ipod.
so here we go!
1. lonely boy - the black keys
oh goodness everything about the black keys is just right. i love them & i love their new album! this song though is one of my favorites on it though. check it out!
2. everybody talks - neon trees
their newest single! "animal" was my theme song when it came out in 2010 & "everybody talks" is just as fun & perfect! it's that song you want to be singing to as you're riding in your car with the top down. it's great!
3. glad you came - the wanted
ok, so i am not even going to lie...i mostly listen to the "glee" version because i have this love for grant gustin that is unexplainable...but original version is just as epic. it's a true party song. you just want to dance to it and that's why i love it. also grant gustin. ha. ok.
4. spread too thin - dirty heads
don't even deny it..you know the rap to their first hit single "lay me down"...yes you do! haha. i love the dirty heads. that might be the california girl in me though. their music relaxes me and i just want to be laying on the beach bumping this song. on repeat always. love it.
5. walking - alexz johnson
on a completely different note...this song is not a party song, beach song, nothing like that but it is perfection. alexz johnson is one of my biggest influences & everything she does musically is flawless in my eyes. she recently released a new ep & this is on it. you know she did right when you want to cry after everything she sings. i love this song.
