i would like to wish a very happy birthday to the lovely jennifer lawrence! she is such an amazing woman, she is a remarkable actress & such an inspiration! i love that she is such a weirdo & has like no filter & she is not afraid to say "i love to eat, there is such a thing as too skinny" [even though she has a rocking body! let's be honest here!]...her down to earth-ness & randomness is what makes her so relatable.
not only all of the above...i love her clothes. always! so in celebration of jennifer's day of birth, here are my 5 favorite j-law outfits!

one of the things i've noticed about jenn's casual style is that it's just as down to earth as she is. she's very much into long skirts or dresses, jeans & a tee. i've recently gotten into the long skirt thing. this one is so cute, very sexy & i love how she dressed it even more down with a oversized top. :)

there's something about this dress that made me fall in love with it the moment i saw it. i'll tell you when i figure it out. jenn looks amazing!

i think this is the closest to my personal style. leather jacket, hat & that romper is adorable! i love the tassels.

i don't think i have to say why i love this dress. it's just amazing! the color is beautiful! after going to private school with a pleated skirt for a uniform for 13 years you'd think i'd hate pleats but this dress works them so well because it balances out the SEXY factor from the low V cut. LOVE THIS DRESS!

what sold me on this dress is that back! i'm not a maxi dress girl but jenn pulls anything off. love it!

wait...what just happened?

in my last post....you may or may not have noticed that this girl's signature bright red & purple hair has been covered up with dark black hair to match my soul & attitude! ha! i miss my red & purple hair so so so much but it was time for a change because people were getting too used to it & i like to be spontaneous & shock & freak people out! :) i am so so happy with the black but i think that once it gets old...red & purple will be right back! what do you think?

Welcome Abbie Rose!

On July 25th, 2012 my beautiful niece Abbie Rose was born! I'm very happy to say that Abbie is very lucky to be born into a wonderful family and loving parents who will cherish her for the rest of their lives :) Welcome Abbie Rose! <3

so for anyone out there who does not know, i am a ridiculously big hockey fan. but even more than that...i am a ridiculously big LA KINGS fan. i was born into an LA kings family, i went to games when i was younger, never complained [unlike when i had to go to football games...-_-], i used to love it. obviously now i am older & i have made the choice to continue the lifestyle of an LA kings fan. yes. it is a lifestyle. year after year was disappointment. being a kings fan meant sticking with them through thick & thin. this season wasn't the best. i remember being in boston & yelling a lot & being in a lot of bad moods. but somehow we managed to get into playoffs....there was no stopping them after that. for the FIRST time in LA kings HISTORY, they won the STANLEY CUP. i still get teary eyed when i see videos of that moment. it was amazing.
the point of this post though is not to educate non-hockey fans. it is to share the excitement that on wednesday morning...i was in the presence of that beautiful trophy. i held it. i KISSED it. my summer has been made!
